We are so grateful to God for the priviledge of being Frances' parents, to the China Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA) for bestowing this honor on us, to our agency New Beginnings for their assistance (especially our social worker, Bonnie), and to our family and friends who supported us through the long and anxious wait to this day!
We are truly amazed at how God has had our family planned since the beginning of time, and how the ancient "Red Thread" has connected us through all eternity!
Our trip will be 14 days long. We will be traveling to Beijing to tour and adjust to the time change for a few days. Then it's on to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province for the rest of our journey. We will meet our daughter in Gaoming City, about 1-1/2 hours drive from Guangzhou, and finalize the adoption there. Then it's back to Guangzhou where Frances' immigration paperwork will be processed at the United States Consulate Orphan Adoption Processing Unit. After a few days in Guangzhou, WE'LL BE COMING HOME!!!
We're adopting again!
We received our beautiful, healthy daughter Frances on May 22nd in Gaoming
and had the incredible priviledge of visiting the orphanage!!
Our thanks and gratitude to Mr. Li, the Orphanage Director, and all of the staff at the Gaoming Social Welfare Institute for their hospitality and for taking such good care
of our daughter and her "sisters".
